Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
California Law Requires Training for Supervisors & Employees
California employers with at least five employees must provide sexual harassment prevention training and education to all supervisory employees and non-supervisory employees by January 1, 2023.
Supervisors need two hours of training and non-supervisors needing one hour. New hires and promoted supervisors must receive training within six months of their start date or promotion.
The training must cover topics such as legal definitions of harassment, types of harassing behavior, reporting procedures, victim protection, retaliation prevention, and bystander intervention strategies.
Our Mandatory Training Includes Policies and Procedures
Training and education must be provided once every two years thereafter, as specified under the new law. The new law also creates requirements for the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH). Our training covers your mandatory training and includes a book of policies and procedures customized for your office.
